"Let's face it - both in 'AGT' and additionally 'Idol' - should the hollywood judges aren't keen on a particular contestant, there's really no way they're making it to the winner's circle in those shows," stated Brant, "We've integrated a complete state-of-the-art secure online voting solution of our own design, combined with gorgeous audio-video showcases, fan clubs and interactivity for fans that can compare to the most significant talent contests".
"The main aim of ACT is to present performers who are galvanized by God, offering our contestants a national stage to present talent borne in their faith," explained Brant in a telephone interview, "We wanted to level the playing field and create 'America's Christian Talent' the "People's Contest' - going back to basic principles and stripping away all of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood," Brant remarked.
The grass roots Christian Talent Contestduring its 1st season introduced primarily singers and music acts, and also included Religious authors for example Cindy Tuttle of Carmichael, California who read passages coming from her brand-new book "Finding the Light of Jesus".
